Will you help us put a smile on the kids of Silver Spring?

On Saturday, December 5 at the church of Silver Spring Assembly, we will host a Toys For Tots drive-through donation event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can safely pop your trunk with a new, unwrapped toy for a contact-free donation to the U.S. Marines Toys For Tots campaign.

Each year we partner with Toys For Tots Marine Corp to distribute toys to families in need in our local community. We normally have 400 to 500 collection boxes out, but the number has been cut due to COVID. Stores just aren’t collecting like they normally can.

In Montgomery County, there are typically more than 300 drop-off locations, and this year there are fewer than 100. Collection events are dramatically down. Hence the reason we are doubling our efforts on collecting toys so that each kid in need has a toy for Christmas!
